Walking and Mountain Bike Options

Option 1. Boulder Walk

Enjoy the walk down to the Boulders over farm land with amazing views. Approximately 2 km walk down into the Boulders from the car park. Access is 12km off SH 1 to the carpark. Open from October to July, no bookings necessary. This is a self guided walk. The hill down and of course backup on this walk is quite steep and challenging. 

$5 pp (Children under 12yrs free)

4WD transport can be provided by prior arrangement (May not be an option depending on weather at the time).

$20 pp with 4WD transport provided

Option 2. Boulder Hike

Hike over farm land from the northern end of Whitecliffs Farm with views as far as the eye can see up and down the Rangitikei Valley and then explore the Magical Boulders. Hike is approximately 8.5km return. Terrain can be slippery when wet. Please contact us for more details. This is a self guided walk.

$10 pp (Children under 12yrs free)
